Protection of Human Rights: In front of Amnesty, President Diomaye Faye Commits

The President of the Repu­blic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, committed to taking concrete measures to improve the protection of human rights, and financial, economic governance in the country.  A commitment he took, last Friday, in a meeting with Agnès Callamard, Se­cretary General of Amnesty International, and representatives of this organisation, and national, African level.  In the audience at the Palace of the Republic, the head of State stated that «his government will continue to promote peace and human rights on the regional and international scene».
